Volkswagen's ID. Buzz GTX brings the iconic Bulli van into the future with enhanced performance and versatility for all kinds of adventures. Available in two wheelbases, two battery sizes, and configurations of 5, 6, or 7 seats, the GTX takes mobility to the next level with standard 4MOTION all-wheel drive for optimal traction in any driving condition.
The ID. Buzz GTX features two electric motors powering the all-wheel drive system, with a top speed electronically limited to 160 km/h. These motors are powered by batteries in two different sizes, and with DC fast charging up to 200 kW, the batteries can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes, keeping you on the road longer and charging less frequently.
The ID. Buzz GTX offers excellent towing capabilities, with the normal-wheelbase version able to pull up to 1,800 kg and the long-wheelbase version capable of towing 1,600 kg. Thanks to the 4MOTION system, the GTX is perfectly suited for towing on wet or loose surfaces, making it ideal for hauling boats, horse trailers, or other large loads with ease.
Visually, the ID. Buzz GTX stands out with a distinctive front end featuring a bumper styled with a black honeycomb grille and new air guide elements. Daytime running lights are integrated into the bumper, while the body features high-gloss black accents, including the air intake grille, GTX lettering, and mirror housings. The GTX comes standard with 20-inch Solna alloy wheels, with the option to upgrade to 21-inch rims. IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights and an exclusive Cherry Red paint finish, available as a solid colour or paired with Mono Silver metallic in a two-tone design, complete the bold look.
Inside, the GTX boasts a sporty, high-end interior with dark tones and exclusive GTX styling. Black headliners and electrically adjustable comfort seats with memory function are standard, featuring black ArtVelours Eco microfleece upholstery with diamond patterns and red contrasting stitching. The multifunction steering wheel also showcases red stitching and GTX lettering.
The interior of the ID. Buzz GTX is as flexible as it is stylish, with seating configurations that vary based on wheelbase length. The standard-wheelbase model is available as a 5-seater with a 40:60 split bench in the second row or as a 6-seater with individual seats in both the second and third rows. The long-wheelbase version can be configured as a 5-seater, a 6-seater, or a 7-seater with a 2/3/2 arrangement. Depending on the model, the seats in the second row can be moved lengthways to provide additional space.
In terms of cargo space, the ID. Buzz GTX is highly versatile. The standard-wheelbase 5-seater offers between 1,121 and 2,123 litres of boot space depending on the seat configuration, while the long-wheelbase model provides up to 2,469 litres. Even with seven passengers, the extended version still has 306 litres of load space. Both models can be equipped with the Multiflex board, creating a flat loading surface when the rear seats are folded down.
The GTX also introduces advanced technology and software updates, including an optional heads-up display and a next-generation 12.9-inch infotainment system with faster processing and an illuminated touch bar for temperature and volume control. The new IDA voice assistant features ChatGPT integration, allowing for natural voice control of vehicle functions and access to general knowledge. Additionally, a Wellness app provides preconfigured settings to enhance comfort during driving or charging, and an exit warning system alerts occupants to approaching vehicles or cyclists when opening the door.
