We’re into year four of the Porsche Taycan, and with the latest model arriving to rave reviews, we’re keen to share some of our favourite features about the Porsche Taycan’s exterior.
One of the main changes to the latest edition is the redesign of the Porsche Taycan front air intakes. These further accentuate the vehicle's low and wide body contours while giving the headlights a bolder and more distinctive appearance, an advance from previous models but means the shape retains its famous sleek design.
Coming as standard in all Porsche Taycan models, the Matrix LED headlights enter a new realm of ingenuity by using a combination of speed, camera, and navigation data to provide clarity on the road.
The high beam is divided in 11 segments with a dimmable or illuminated option that means oncoming vehicles aren’t dazzled by blinded by the beam but, behind the wheel, your vision isn’t impacted when travelling during night time.
It’s an added extra but the Porsche Taycan can also feature HD matrix LED headlights too that respond dynamically to the driving conditions – sounds pretty clever, doesn’t it? The way it works is complex as it is fascinating with each headlight containing 32,000 individually controllable micro-LEDs, calculating the road conditions every 16 milliseconds and adapting accordingly.
Understanding the difference between the Cross Turismo and the Sport Turismo is an important deciding factor if you’re still weighing up your options.
So whilst each model exudes luxury, in the 2024 reboot of the Porsche Taycan, there are 3 key models which range in body style to suit different needs.
An added feature but wow what a lovely addition to the design of the newest Porsche Taycan. These door locks have an integral soft-close system for comfortable and safe closing of all four doors. Say goodbye to heavy door slams and hello to luxury and peace.
On the Sport Turismo and Cross Turismo models, the panoramic fixed glass roof covers most of the cabin, allowing natural light to fill every corner and creating a distinctive atmosphere. This feature opens up the cabin, providing an airy and expansive feel. The roof's sleek design also complements the vehicle's sporty aesthetic. By opting for the glass roof on your Porsche Taycan, you enhance the luxury and sophistication of this remarkable car.
