The Bentley Continental GT is the pinnacle of performance luxury, balancing the perfect driving experience with unwavering power. Although the exterior is something to behold, crafted with specialist engineering precision, it’s the interior that’s really caught our eye. After all, that's where you’re going to spend all your time when getting behind the wheel!

Taking a closer look at the features of the Bentley Continental GT interior, we realised we just had to share why we think they’re so special. In this blog, we’re looking at 5 things we love that we’re sure will make your heart beat faster too.

Perhaps a small feature to some but one which shouldn’t be overlooked. Whilst most cars will feature a small lever to raise or lower your seat, the Continental GT features a fully electric adjustable system, so you can get your position right down to the millimetre.

This system is controlled using the dashboard touchscreen and allows you to choose settings for easy entry, seat memory and even armrest heating. Once you’re sitting comfortably, you can make your drive even more cosy by selecting specific parts of the seat you’d like to heat, whether it’s the base, backrest or both!

The 12.3” high-res touchscreen is arguably the star of the show and the central hub for all the interior central controls. With everything from 3D mapping and navigation to climate and temperature features.

However, what makes the Bentley Continental GT’s screen really special is its ability to rotate within the dash, allowing you to flip the touchscreen for a panel with 3 dials or a panel which matches the rest of the veneer fascia dash. For purists, this feature is a godsend as it means you don’t have to sacrifice the traditional interior style just to get the latest model.

If you’re someone who loves a good playlist to accompany you on a road trip, whether that’s a long drive for a weekend away or just to pop to the shops, you’ll be pleased to know you can enjoy the Bentley premium audio sound system with the Continental GT.

This mouthwatering setup includes either a 1500w 16-speaker by Bang & Olufsen, or a mighty 2200w speaker by Naim. If you’re really looking for some oomph, you’ll probably want to opt for the Naim setup which includes 18 speakers, two shakers and a 20-channel amplifier!

It can be difficult to craft a vehicle with a beautiful design with a striking angular look and still full natural visibility. In the case of the Continental GT, clear road visibility isn’t just an afterthought and provides essential road safety features with the City Specification pack.

This safety pack includes:

• Top view camera - Creates a digital birds-eye view of the vehicle and surroundings to make parking and navigating tight spaces much easier.
• Pedestrian warning - Continuously scanning the road ahead, your Bentley will pick up signs of any pedestrians or cyclists ahead and give you a heads up if there’s a chance of collision.
• Road sign recognition - Automatically scans road signs and notifies you of any speed limit changes or traffic alerts.
• Parking assist - Sensors detect the space available when parking and adjust input to the steering wheel to accommodate the need for tight manoeuvres.

Recognising this, Bentley has made sure the driver and front passenger have plenty of space for a comfortable ride. Ample head, shoulder and leg room mean that even if you’re settling in for a long journey, you’ll feel like you never left the sofa.

Despite the space in the back being in slightly shorter supply than that of the front, the Continental GT still has a lot to offer when compared to other coupés. Young ones will have more than enough room to keep themselves entertained on the road and there’s also enough space for a decent-sized child seat to fit in the back too!
